This floor mount base is constructed of mild steel, and coated using a hot dipped galvanisation process which provides corrosion protection against the elements and is silver in appearance. It's designed to be installed directly onto the working surface and has integrated mounting holes that accept M20 fasteners for securing the base into position. The friction reducing insert sleeve is constructed of thermoplastic which aids in davit rotation. When used as part of the complete system, this base meets the requirements of EN795:2012, EN1496:2006, CEN/TS 16415: 2013, and AS/NZS 5532. All 3M™ DBI SALA® HC Bases are designed to be used in combination with 3M™ DBI SALA® HC Davit Masts, and together form a perfectly matched confined space rescue and work support system.
