The 3M 6035 Cartridge Filter is one of the 3M 6000 series of filters that can be used in a variety of applications. This versatile filter can be used on all 3M 6000, 7000 & 7500 series half masks and full face masks. Note that the 3M 6035 Cartridge Filter provides P3 protection with a full face respirator and P2 protection with a half face respirator. When selected and used in accordance with AS/NZS 1715, the 3M 6035 Cartridge Filter is capable of providing protection against particulates at levels up to 10 times the Exposure Standard on a half face mask and up to 100 times the Exposure Standard on a full face mask.
The 3M 6059 Gas and Vapour Cartridge protects against organic vapours. Suitable for 3M 6000 and 3M 7000 Series Half and Full Face Masks.
Typical industrial applications for filters are: Anywhere conventional paints are used (subject to usage conditions),vehicle manufacture, aircraft manufacture and refurbishment, boat building, ink and dye manufacturer and use, adhesive manufacturer and use, paint and varnish manufacturer, resin manufacturer and use, acid cleaning, metal pickling, metal etching, manufacturer and maintenance of refrigeration equipment, agro chemicals, chemical manufacture and handling.
When used with 3M full facepieces, provide approved protection against dusts, mists and fumes as a P3 filter. Also approved for agricultural chemicals having low vapour pressure (less than 1.3 Pa at 25°C). Minimises ozone and provides relief from nuisance. NOTE: This disc filter provides GP3 protection only with full facepiece respirator. Provides GP2 protection with half facepiece respirator.
NOTE: The 3M™ Disc Filter 2138 provides GP3 protection only with full facepiece respirator. Provides GP2 protection with half facepiece respirator
Provides protection against: Organic Vapours (boiling point > 65?C) (A1).
3M™ Bayonet Connection System ensures precise and secure locking
Low profile and well balanced twin filter design
Suitable for use with 3M™ 6000/7500 Series Half Face Respirators and 3M™ 6000/7000 Series Full Face Respirators
Common Applications/Hazards: For protection when cleaning with or using organic solvents e.g. toluene, xylene and MEK. Also degreasing, mixing, using paint thinner, lacquers and glues.
Protection Factors: Note that any filtering respirator should not be used for protection at airborne concentrations of contaminants above the relevant Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) levels.
This cartridge/filter, when used for protection against the contaminants as specified, is capable of providing the following protection levels: - With a 3M 6000/7500 Series Half Face Respirator: for airborne concentrations up to 10 times the Workplace Exposure Standard (WES) or 1000 ppm, whichever is the lower - With a 3M 6000/7800 Series Full Face Respirator: 50 x WES or 1000 ppm, whichever is the lower
The 3M particulate filter 5925, P2 can be used in industries where excess levels of particulates are present in the workplace atmosphere where gas/vapour protection is also required. It is designed for use with 3M 6000 Series Cartridges with the 501 Filter Retainer.
3M Particulate Filter GP2, Acid Gas & Organic Vapours: Pair
The 3M 2128 GP2 Particulate Filter is one of the 3M 2000 series of filters that provide a lightweight filter option for 3M Half and Full Face respirators. For protection against welding fume, ozone, polishing and grinding particles. Also for spraying pesticides or herbicides with vapour pressure
The 3M 2125 Particulate Filter is one of the 3M 2000 series of filters that offers a lightweight filtration option for 3M half and full face respirators. This filter features advanced Electret Media for optimised filtration efficiency and is a lighter alternative to other filters that provide comparable protection. When used in accordance with AS/NZS 1715, the 3M 2125 Particulate Filter is capable of providing protection from particulates at levels of up to 10 times the exposure standard on a 3M half face mask and up to 50 times the exposure standard on a 3M full face mask.
This filter is able to be used for protection against mechanically and/or thermally generated particulates such as welding fumes, dusts, smoke and biological agents.
Press To Check P2/P3 Filters To Suit HMTPMS (Pair)
Press To Check filters allow self-assessment of your half mask’s fit and seal when used with the ‘HMTPMS – Silicone Half Mask Respirator’. By pressing down on the filters while attached to your half mask, no air should be able to enter through or around the mask. If you find that air is coming through into or around the mask, adjust the mask and repeat until you have a secure fit.
