C8 Chainsaw Chaps are designed for people who don't use a chainsaw everyday but are still looking to stay safe. They are typically used by homeowners, people with lifestyle blocks, and farmers. With C8s, you get all the critical protection that you need at an affordable price with tough components to ensure a long life. Even if you are a casual user, you always need to be protected and comfortable. An accident can happen really fast, and can change your life!
The “trouser-leg” style doesn't have any external fastening, it can be pulled over the top of your clothing. The trouser-leg model is the simplest and most inexpensive but you most likely will need to remove your boots to put them on.
- Constructed with 6 layers of Arrestex chainsaw fabric
- Waist to ankle coverage
- Split front design for increased freedom of movement
- 600 denier strong polyester outer with water resistant PU coating and rugged oxford weave for durability
- 50mm wide belt with quick release buckle
- The adjustable waist extends to 125cm. An additional 45cm extension belt is available if required
- Soft polycotton lining for extra comfort
- Suitable for the occasional chainsaw user
- Protection: Apron style
- Standards:
- Certified by Bureau Veritas NZ Ltd to the Australian and New Zealand standard, AS/NZS 4453.3:1997 (20 m/s chainspeed)
